ROLE

Great customer service is essential to any successful retail organization. An exceptional Pawnbroker achieves a hard-working, productive and effective work result that maximizes financial goals, reduces costs, and elevates customer relations and satisfaction. The Pawnbroker role is responsible for creating a consumer friendly environment that includes but is not limited to: opening and closing cash drawers, merchandising, store maintenance, stocking, pricing, selling, loaning as well as offering assistance to other coworkers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

CUSTOMER SERVICE: It is the responsibility of the Pawnbroker to facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing any customer issues to meet the high expectations and standards of the company.

CODE OF ETHICS: It is the responsibility of the Pawnbroker to ensure that all behaviors are consistent with the companies established Code of Ethics and that all business conducted within the store and their sphere of influence is done in accordance with the companies’ code of ethics.

OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED: The Pawnbroker works under the direction of store management and is responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Strong desire to work, serve internal and external customers, and work with people; team oriented

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Cash handling experience preferred

  • High energy sales personality with knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense

  • Computer literate and able to use common office machines

  • Sales Experience preferred
